Does cork floor fade in the light?

Exposure to UV light as well as sunlight will cause color variations in cork – It typically turns a little yellow. This is normal and not a manufacturing defect. Area rugs, large furniture and other things in a room will block direct light exposure and cause uneven coloration. To minimize fading, furnishings and floor coverings should be moved periodically.
